If you’re looking for a summer night with a little extra boom, the Demolition Derby is calling your name. On Saturday, August 30 at 7 PM, Big R Arena will come alive with the roar of engines, the crunch of metal, and a crowd that can’t get enough of the chaos. It’s the ultimate spectacle of controlled collisions, where the last car standing takes home the glory.

If you’ve never seen cars deliberately collide until one is crowned champion, then friend, you’ve been missing out. The Demolition Derby is back at the Colorado State Fair on Saturday, August 30 at 7 PM, and it’s everything your inner 10-year-old dreamed of: roaring engines, flying bumpers, and the glorious chaos of steel meeting steel. Families cheer, kids go wide-eyed, and the crowd erupts every time a driver makes that last-ditch move to stay in the fight.
And because it’s the State Fair, the fun doesn’t stop there. Friday night kicks off with Flo Rida + Chamillionaire dropping hits at the Southwest Motors Events Center 🎤, while Monster Trucks tear up Big R Arena the same night. Saturday keeps the energy sky-high with another monster truck show before the Derby steals the spotlight. Not into crashes and crunches? Catch Russell Dickerson with Drew Green rocking the stage instead.
By Sunday, you’ll still be going strong with Cheap Trick and Celebración de los Charros with Los Huracanes del Norte, plus all the fried Twinkies, carnival rides, and prize-winning llamas your Colorado heart can handle. 🎡🎶
